  27. Exciting video. I wonder if it could have been a public park or military parade ground? Given the wide variety of objects you have found. And the locals seem adamant there was no house there!

Looking forward to the next one.

  30. Thanks very much for watching – I always enjoy the MD movies from Norway LOL. Actually, the prospecting pick has never scratched a coin, a few near misses and some hits on larger relics LOL. Looks like crazy digging but the trick is to loosen the soil around the object and then pull it back gently. The are actually gold prospecting picks, designed for the hard dry ground. Best wishes and good luck on your next hunt.

  38. Thanks for your comments. Well the more I find on the site, the more intriguing the history, I am going to make enquries at the local historical society about the place. Stil, a number of people in the town have told me, ‘No, there has never been a house on those blocks!’ All the more interesting! Will post any info I get. Very best of luck on your next outing. HH.

  42. [..YouTube..] Thanks, they are my absolute favourite, I have quite a collection of them from over the years, plus other military badges, but these are the first that I could positively identify as WW1. I think the archaeologists call them ‘contextual finds’ LOL. Best wishes and HH.
