WW2 Identity Disc returned to Soldier’s Family

After many weeks of enquries and e-mails, we have located the relatives of the soldier whose identity disc we found at the site of a WW2 camp. We will be mailing the disc off in the next few days. Many thanks to the staff at the Australian War Memorial, the R.S.L. sub-branches in Western Australia and New South Wales, and the 2/16th Battallion Association in Perth for the assistance with locating the soldier’s records and subsequently, his family. A video update will be posted in the coming weeks. Happy Hunting! Warren and Colleen.
