G’day everyone, we have just returned from a short trip to the North Queensland goldfields. Although the ‘wet season’ this year has not produced a lot of rain in the area, the grass on the creek banks and hillsides is so thick that detecting is almost impossible – so we concentrated our efforts on the creek gullies and in the ghost towns where the grass allowed it. In addition we took along our half-scale gold cradle in search of some fine gold. We are currently editing the footage, and will have a video up early next week. Thanks you for visiting our site! Happy Hunting!
