  1. Don’t know how I missed this one but a great recap of the year! Also, LOVED the Souixie and Banshees music! Nothing like cutting edge New Wave music from back in the day, eh mate!

  2. Thanks for your comment Spinifex – this video at 7:31 actually took several hours to edit – why do we do it? LOL. HH mate!

  3. Just going through your back catalogue NQ, don’t know how I missed this one! Fantastic editing and film of Gods Own Earth – indeed the Great Southern Land!

  4. Great stuff guys, obviously a lot of work and preperation goes into your videos – “good one!” I love watching them.

  5. here is short version of inbox
    .
In 1973 he spent 16 weeks in Australia, running Garrick Agnew’s 53-foot boat and catching 83 black marlin in 16 days, a number of which weighed over 1,000 pounds.

  6. G’day Max, yep we sure know Cairns – that’s where we live! LOL. Still plenty of marlin fishing going on, and sportfishing tours. Some amazing fish to be caught here – and fantastic table fish like the famous Barramundi, Spanish Mackerel, and other reef fish. Up north of here on Cape York, the fishing is even better, and the fishermen further apart! HH mate.

  7. back in the 70’si had a friend named charlie hayden, he was a great bait rigger from our east coast and was paid to fly over and fish for world record black marlins in Cairns. at first they fished for what he called scaly mackeral and used for bait. in a week they caught many blacks over 1,200 lbs. each….always wanted to go there..- u know it??

  8. Thanks for watching Max – we were fishing for Mackerel or Barramundi – but managed to hook a few 3 to 4 foot sharks and lose quite a few good lures! That spot was “shark alley” LOL. HH mate. Warren.
