Metal Detecting: Colleen Cleans up the WW2 Hospital: Garrett AT Gold.

We spend a couple of hours detecting an area of a WW2 Hospital site which was hitherto inaccessible due to very dense lantana undergrowth. A fire had cleaned the area up so in we went — but right from the start Colleen was hitting the finds one after the other and so my detector was put away and I just followed here around with the camera! Amazing surface finds for a WW2 site that has lain undisturbed for 70 years, a “Rising Sun”, possibly from an AANS Nurse’s uniform, and a ‘sunbaking’ ‘AUSTRALIA’. We hope you enjoy this short video and the associated historical information. Happy Hunting! Colleen and Warren.
