A brief introductory video to the new Garrett Pro-Pointer AT, demonstrating underwater and field use and the three sensitivity settings. The Pro-Pointer AT is waterproof to 3 metres/10 feet, and uses a single 9V battery. It also has a lanyard attachment, and comes with a webbing holster for belt or digging pouch attachment. Thanks for watching. Colleen and Warren.
Our new Garrett Propointer AT has just arrived, so we went straight down to the local creek for a test run. We will post a video shortly, showing the adjustable levels of sensitivity, and its ability to isolate small gold nuggets thus reducing recovery time.
Join with us deep in the Great Dividing Range of North Queensland at the site of a long-abandoned silver mining town and smelter. We did a lot of tea-drinking and chatting and exploring and not a lot of detecting, but nevertheless some nice finds came to light, and we meet up with 12-year-old Heath who picks up a nice silver sixpence with his Garrett ACE 150. George Mayer from the NQ Miners Den was also along on a great day out. Thanks for watching. Colleen and Warren.
Join with us again prospecting in the Sierra Nevadas of California with Garrett ATX and AT Gold metal detectors. On this occasion we explored the Forks of Butte Creek. No nuggets came to light but we got some nice California gold in the pan and enjoyed the cameraderie of like-minded prospectors. As a bonus Dave shows us a half-ounce nugget he detected previously with his AT Gold. A big thank you to Joey Wilson, Adventures in Prospecting of Oroville, CA, for organizing this great adventure. Also thanks to Steve Moore from Garrett, and Recce Muru of Garrett Australia for his great camera work.
