Metal Detecting ‘Trench Art’ Slouch Hat – Garrett AT Max.

Following on from our previous video in a WW2 Australian Army Divisional camp along with Beau ‘Aquachigger’, we continue after lunch wary of a lunchtime Taipan sighting and the long grass we were facing. More great WW2 memorabilia comes to light, including buckles and silver coins, and finally a very special ‘Trench Art’ Diggers ‘Slouch Hat’ fashioned from a 1943 Kangaroo Penny! Thanks for watching and subscribing and please visit Beau’s channel for his take on the day! Happy Fossicking! Colleen, Warren and Beau!

Australian Gold Rush Relics! Exploring Abandoned Mining Camps.

Our goldfields adventure continues with more evidence of the large number of Chinese Diggers who worked the remote Queensland goldfields in the 1870s and 1880s. Plenty of unique ‘pinfire’ rounds and a 370 year old Imperial Chinese Cash Coin are unearthed as we push deeper into the remote bush. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Colleen and Warren (and Beau and George).
