In the first ‘recon’ video into a new site, we head out in search of relics from the Great War. The 2nd Light Horse Regiment trained in this area in 1915 before deploying to Egypt, and eventually, Gallipoli. Lots of talking and a bit of detecting and a great WWI relic does come to light. Stay tuned for a second visit to this site in search of relics from this famous Cavalry Regiment. Happy Fossicking! www.garrettaustralia.com.au www.outdoortactical.com.au
A video with a difference in that we are in an urban park (so no long shots sorry), which was the site of a pioneer school established in 1882. The school was relocated to a larger site shortly after the First World War. Some great old coins and relics come to light, culminating in a lovely Victorian silver. We hope you enjoy the first video in a series filmed at this site. Happy Fossicking! Colleen and Warren. www.garrettaustralia.com.au www.outdoortactical.com.au
Join with us for our first reconnaissance sortie into the site of an abandoned WW2 R.A.A.F Airfield. The base was used by both the R.A.A.F. and U.S.A.A.F. from early 1942 until the cessation of hostilities in late 1945. Some great relics and coins come to light in this first recon sortie. We will be revisiting the site over the next few months to see what else lies buried! Thanks for watching and subscribing. www.nqexplorers.com www.garrettaustralia.com.au www.outdoortactical.com.au
