This collection of finds features recoveries that were not included in our main adventure videos, a kind of ‘Director’s Cut’ from 2017 edits. We travel from Queensland to Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia in search of coins, relics and gold in this final video of 2017. Look for (or hear for) cameo appearances by Greckie of CWPS, Jacob from Digging Australia, and Ben from Gold Diggers. We would like to thank all our subscribers for their support and look forward to some more great finds in 2018! All the best and Happy Fossicking from Colleen and Warren!
This is the second instalment in our special ‘Adventure Trek’ series of videos. On this trip we travel up the remote Oodnadatta Track, following the path of the original Afghan Cameleers and the narrow gauge (3’6″) Central Australian Railway (CAR), to Alice Springs. Along the way we explore ruins and search for historic relics. When then journey on the new “Ghan” all the way to Darwin, thus crossing the Continent of Australia from South to North. We hope you enjoy this outback adventure! Happy Fossicking! www.garrettaustralia.com.au www.outdoortactical.com.au www.nqexplorers.com

Join with us as we investigate an abandoned Victorian riverside promenade in the quest for 19th Century relics and coins. Some great finds come to light right from the start so we plan several return visits to the site which has a lot more potential! Thanks for watching and subscribing! Join with Warren, Ben and Colleen following up on the first part in our Prospecting for Alluvial Gold series. In this instalment we put the theories into practice first with the gold pan, and then the metal detector. Some nice colours of gold in the pan are followed by a nice nugget patch with a number of very nice sub-gram nuggets. The patch produced 29 nuggets in total. Happy Fossicking! Warren, Colleen and Ben.
Join with Warren and Ben for a New Chum’s guide to panning and crevicing for alluvial gold. Basic principles of gold deposition are covered, along with ‘where to dig’ for fine gold and nuggets along creeklines. In part 2 we move on to the gold pan to recover some fine gold, and metal detectors to recover gold nuggets. Thanks for watching and subscribing! www.nqexplorers.com www.garrettaustralia.com.au
This is a brief preview video of a much longer two-part series “Where to find Alluvial Gold”. The full video will be available shortly. A nice patch of gold nuggets (25+ pieces), discovered and recovered with Garrett AT Max International, ATX (8″ monoloop coil), and AT Gold detectors. Happy Fossicking! Warren, Colleen and Ben.
Join with us as we return to a very well detected site with the new AT Max International and we pick up some great WW2 relics and the first silver coins with the new machine. Live digs abound as the day unfolds and Colleen scores 3 silvers and some nice militaria for the collection along the way. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Colleen and Warren.
Join with Warren, Greckie and Phil on a 2,000km road trip to the NSW outback with the new Garrett AT Max International. Before heading off, we pick up some nice ‘micro-nuggets’ in the Central Victorian Goldfields using the optional 5 x 8″ DD searchcoil. Please note that ‘live’ digs are generally edited for brevity, and the gale force winds prevailing around Tibooburra at the time. Thanks for watching and subscribing and Happy Fossicking! Warren, Greckie and Phil.
Another great day on the lake with Ed B, investigating a WW2 artillery camp, turns up a real surprise late in the day when Colleen uncovers a Victorian 1896 English Penny. Was this a WW2 drop or indication of much earlier use of the site? Other great finds include a collar ‘Rising Sun’ – and an Identity Disc belonging to a Western Australian Digger.
