Dump Digging and Relic Hunting in Arizona – Part 1.

Join with Ringy, CB, Warren and Colleen as we embark on the first part of our Arizona detecting and dump digging adventure. We headed into Arizona after the SHOT Show in Las Vegas and we all came home with some fantastic relics and coins from the trip. Spectacular scenery in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona provide the backdrop for our adventures. We hope you enjoy watching as much as we did filming the experience.
Happy Fossicking! Colleen and Warren.

ATX Gold Nugget.

ATX Gold – Our mate FNQ Chris’s first nugget, 0.6gm of beautiful Palmer River Gold. The nugget was detected in very hot ground at 10-15cm (4-6″) with the stock ATX DD coil in an area that had been well visited by detectorists over the years.

Garrett ATX in Australia: Setup and Controls.

This is a brief run through on the new Garrett ATX Extreme Pulse Induction metal detector. In this video we look at unpacking and deployment, coil changing, battery changing and general operation of the controls. The ATX was extensively tested in Australia in the world’s most challenging conditions for a metal detector – from the volcanic soil of North Queensland to the ironstones of the Western Australian goldfields. In these conditions the ATX performed smoothly and found small gold in areas that had previously been ‘flogged out’ by other PI detectors. We hope you enjoy this brief introduction to the ATX  – we will be heading out to the goldfields in the coming weeks to bring you more videos of the ATX. Thanks for watching – Colleen and Warren.
